City of Searcy Launches “Spruce Up Searcy” Community Beautification Campaign
The City of Searcy, in partnership with the Searcy Beautification Committee, is inviting residents, businesses, schools, churches, and organizations to take part in a new community-wide initiative: Spruce Up Searcy.
Taking place throughout the months of April and May, the campaign encourages the community to come together and complete projects that enhance the appearance of Searcy — whether that’s improving a home or business, cleaning up a public space, planting flowers, painting, or tackling other beautification efforts.
“Spruce Up Searcy is all about community pride and taking ownership of the place we call home,” said Beautification Committee Chair Marka Bennett. “We know that even small projects can make a big difference, and we’re excited to see individuals and groups come together to help make Searcy even more beautiful.”
Several local businesses are also joining the effort by offering special discounts on supplies and services to help support community projects, making it even easier for residents to get involved.
Four Seasons: $5 off $50 purchase or $10 off $100 purchase
Ridout Lumber: 25% off Lawn & Garden
Home Hardware: 20% off everything except building supplies
Sherwin-Williams: 35% off Emerald Interior & Exterior Paint and Cashmere Pain
Participants must mention “Spruce Up Searcy” to take advantage of these discounts in April and May 2026.
Participants are encouraged to document their projects by sharing before-and-after photos on social media using the hashtag #SpruceUpSearcy, with the opportunity to be featured on City of Searcy channels.
“This campaign is a great example of what makes Searcy special,” said Mayor Mat Faulkner. “When people take pride in their homes, neighborhoods, and shared spaces, it strengthens our entire community. Spruce Up Searcy is a simple way for everyone to get involved and make a lasting impact.”
