City of Searcy to Celebrate Grand Opening of New Dog Park
The City of Searcy will celebrate the grand opening of its new Dog Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 21, at 10am at the Carmichael Community Center.
The new Dog Park provides a dedicated space for dogs and their owners to gather, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. Designed by Planning & Development Director Richard Stafford in coordination with Davidson Engineering, the park includes separate areas for large and small dogs, allowing pets of all sizes to safely play and socialize.
Additional amenities include a covered pavilion that provides shade and seating for pet owners and a pup drinking station to help dogs stay hydrated during their visit.
The Dog Park is the latest addition to Searcy's growing parks and recreation system and reflects the City's ongoing commitment to enhancing quality of life for residents and their pets.
"This is a project that many residents have been excited about, and we're thrilled to see it become a reality," said Mayor Mat Faulkner. "We look forward to seeing families and their four-legged friends enjoy it for years to come."
The City invites residents and their pups to attend the grand opening.
