Community Service

Community service is assigned through the White County District Court, and managed by Searcy Code Enforcement.  Workers perform a variety of services for the City of Searcy, including but not limited to mowing and yard work, trash pick-up, and office cleaning. The Community Service Office is located at 1901 E.  Community Service Supervisor – Jeff Harp

• You must arrive no later than 7:15 am to check-in.   Work hours are from 7:15 am until 3:00 pm.  

• If you leave without permission, you will not receive credit for that day.  

• Monday thru Friday – 2 for 1 credit.

• Saturday – 1 for 1 credit.

• Fines are not eligible for 2 for 1 credit.

• If you’ve received a warrant for not completing prior community service, you must contact the Court office before working and 2 for 1 is no longer an option for you.

• You must have your yellow sheet and docket number.

• You must have photo ID.

• You must wear appropriate clothing (No shorts, no sandals).

• No cell phones while working.
