Community Service

Community service is assigned through the White County District Court, and managed by Searcy Code Enforcement.  Workers perform a variety of services for the City of Searcy, including but not limited to mowing and yard work, trash pick-up, and office cleaning. The Community Service Office is located at 1901 E. Market Street in Searcy (Behind Sonic on Race Street). If you have any questions regarding Community Service, please contact Kristina Johnson at (501) 279-1045.

 Community Service Supervisor – Jeff Harp

  • You must arrive no later than 7:15 am to check-in.   Work hours are from 7:15 am until 3:00 pm.  

  • If you leave without permission, you will not receive credit for that day.  

  • Monday thru Friday – 2 for 1 credit.

  • Saturday – 1 for 1 credit.

  • Fines are not eligible for 2 for 1 credit.

  • If you’ve received a warrant for not completing prior community service, you must contact the Court office before working and 2 for 1 is no longer an option for you.

  • You must have your yellow sheet and docket number.

  • You must have photo ID.

  • You must wear appropriate clothing (No shorts, no sandals).

  • No cell phones while working.
