My name is Kelli Shaw . I began my employment with the Searcy Police Department in June 1994 as a dispatcher. I left the Searcy Police Department in November 1996 to move out of state. I was again employed with the Searcy Police Department in June 1999 as a dispatcher and worked in that division until December 2000 when I transferred to the Criminal Investigation Division as the division’s secretary. My responsibilities in the Criminal Investigation Division include transcribing and typing case files, filing, maintaining the division’s call schedule, maintaining computer files, receiving telephone calls and relaying them to the appropriate detective. My duties also include compiling data for reports, providing information to the public concerning departmental procedures, and distributing incoming mail. I also prepare and submit the monthly Uniform Crime Report to the F.B.I., which reports the department’s statistics for the month.
