Roger Pearson |
My name is Roger Pearson and I’m a City of Searcy Police Officer. I started my career as a police officer in 1990 after completing a tour with the United States Marine Corps as a military policeman. Starting in Searcy with a bang, I was assigned as a rookie to work undercover. I worked for three months totally undercover. Then I resumed patrol duties for one year. After that I was assigned to the 17 th East Judicial District Drug Task Force where I served in the covert investigation capacity for 3 years before being re-assigned to patrol duties. I remained there until September of 1998 when the Searcy Police Chief J.R. Thomas established a Narcotics Division and assigned me to that post. On April 1 st 2000, Chief Thomas re-opened a grant establishing the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force. There I served as the Chief investigator over a three county area. In April 2004, I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned as a shift supervisor in the Patrol Division.
