My name is Kim Pearson and I am a police officer for the City of Searcy. I began my career as a Police Officer with the Jacksonville Police Department in August of 1999 until June of 2000. I was hired by the Searcy Police Department and assigned to the Central AR Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force as a Narcotics Investigator. In February of 2002, I was HAZMAT (Hazardous Material) Certified by the Drug Enforcement Administration to dismantle Clandestine Methamphetamine Laboratories. I am currently assigned to the Support Services Division of the Searcy Police Department, where I handle support issues with an emphasis on the records management software. I am a member of the Arkansas Municipal Police Association and I was elected Secretary/Treasurer in 2004. I am glad to work in and be a part of a wonderful community like Searcy.
