My name is Steve Hernandez and I am 24 years old.  I grew up in Sacramento, California, and Clinton, Arkansas. I graduated from Clinton High School in 1999.  I have worked in Law Enforcement since 2001, and was certified as a full time Police Officer in 2002.  I began working at the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department as a jailer and worked my way up to a Deputy.  While working for Van Buren County, I became involved in a variety of cases including a nationally televised murder case and numerous meth labs.  I began working for the Searcy Police Department in June of 2004, where I currently work in the Patrol Division.  While in Law Enforcement, I have been trained in classes such as Advanced Defensive Tactics and other methamphetamine awareness classes.
