My name is Steven Hacker . I am married to Angela, I have three children, Kim, Matt, and Jeff, two step-children, Leah and Heather, and a grandbaby Preston. I am a Corporal with the Searcy Police Department. I began my career in Law Enforcement as a Reserve Deputy for the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department in 1987. In February of 1991 I began working as a full-time Deputy Sheriff. From there I went to the Searcy Police Department in October 1994 serving as an undercover officer with the Drug Task Force for 18 months, served in the Criminal Investigation Division for 32 months, and in the Patrol Division. I teach the “Be A Winner” program to the sixth graders at South West Middle School and am also the School Resource Officer at the Alhf Jr. High. I love working with the students at the Jr. High, they really keep it interesting! I enjoy hunting, fishing, walking, camping, and shooting sports.
