Sgt. Eric Webb

My name is Eric Webb . I was hired by the Searcy Police Department as a Patrol Officer in July of 1988.  I worked in the Patrol Division until late 1989, when I was transferred to the Criminal Investigation Division.  I worked as a Detective until February of 1992. Then I was transferred the 17th East Judicial District Drug Task Force.  I worked as the Chief Investigator for the Drug Task Force until February of 1993.  In 1993, I was transferred back to the Patrol Division.  I became involved in training new Officers in 1994.  I serve as a Field Training Officer in the Patrol Division to this date.  In 2000, I was promoted to Corporal.  I was named Searcy Police Department's "Police Officer of the Year" in 2001.  In March of 2004, I was promoted to Sergeant in the Patrol Division. I am a certified Law Enforcement Instructor, certified Radar Instructor, and certified Field Training Officer.  I have approximately 1000 hours in law enforcement training.  I grew up in Searcy, and graduated from Searcy High School in 1983.  I attended Ouachita Baptist University.  After leaving college in December of 1987, I returned to Searcy where I now reside with my wife avnd son.
