Tabatha Denny

My name is Tabatha Denny . I am 31 years old and I was born in Hampton, VA on Langley Air Force Base. We moved back to Arkansas when I was 7 months old. My brother and I were raised by my single father until March 1, 1985. At this time, he married my "mom" who added four more children to the family. I grew up in a 100-year-old-house that boasted 3 tiny bedrooms. I lived there with my father, mother, grandmother, uncle, three brothers, two sisters and a nephew. (We didn't have many cats and dogs!) I was married and had my first baby girl, Laurissa, in 1990. I graduated from McRae High School in May, 1991. In 1993, I attended Foothills Vo-Tech in Searcy and received my EMT-A license. In 1995, I attended UAMS in Little Rock and received my EMT-I license. With this educational background, I still managed to work several factory jobs through out my life.

In 1996, I accepted a marriage proposal from my husband, Scott Denney. He brought with him three beautiful daughters; Taylor, Abbey and Kelsey Denney. In 1997, we added our fifth and youngest daughter, Allyson. We reside here in Searcy. My hobbies include crocheting, sewing, dancing, some hunting, fishing with my father, my children's activities and interests, supporting my husband's band, supporting him in life and supporting my beloved nephews in every aspect of their lives. I am an active member and committee leader of the Rock of Life Church in Searcy, where I also volunteer at the Day Care. I have been employed at the Searcy Police Department since 2003. Some of my duties are answering and dispatching 911 and non-emergency calls to the Searcy Police and Searcy Fire Departments, ACIC Communications Terminal Operator, general "secretarial" duties including filing warrants, answering incoming calls and transferring them to the appropriate offices or agencies and monitoring all officers activities.
